Out of 500 applications to the 2017 Bay Area Playwright's Festival, Berta, Berta was one of 25 finalists and the only play selected to participate in the Rough Readings Series at Playwright's Foundation. Angelica got to work with the legendary director Steven Anthony Jones and phenomenal actors Tobie Windham and Dawn Troupe-Masi on two staged readings of the play, which received rave reviews from both audiences.
